Changing Lives
One Dancer at a Time. Teaching dance is rewarding on so many levels. The positive impact you can have on children, empowering them and helping them grow makes this one of the most exhilerating jobs you will ever have.
Ask any director and they will tell you the most amazing stories of the dancers they have worked with, their incredible human spirit and the pride they take in their “kids”.

The Vision
In 1981, Cindy’s Clough opened the first Just For Kix youth dance Program in Brainerd, Minnesota. Within 24, hours, 120 students were enrolled. Within years, the organization’s special brand of choreography and exciting, youth-centric format spread to surrounding communities and eventually to nine other states. In 30 years, over 95,000 kids have danced with Just For Kix company wide.
As an avid dancer, coach, and educator, Cindy’s vision has always been to provide access to dance to all youth. She believes in the potential of every dancer, any age.
Cindy’s a believer that all the little things, actually end up making life so BIG; especially those that happen to us as teachers. All these little things remind us of how significant our impact can be on students and their families.
